Dacia has once again underlined its winning formula after the Dacia Jogger and Dacia Sandero have won ‘Best Family Car’ and ‘Best Budget Car’ respectively at the 2023 Autocar Awards.
In addition to the Dacia duo taking home two of the most important awards of the night – ‘Best Budget Car’ being introduced this year as a reflection of the current times – the brand’s CEO Denis Le Vot added to the success by being awarded the prestigious Sturmey Award. This highly coveted award recognises innovation and achievement in the automotive industry and is named after the renowned title’s founding editor and automotive pioneer, Henry Sturmey.
The awards are the latest to acknowledge the seven-seat Dacia Jogger as the perfect family car and highlight how the Sandero – the second best-selling car in Europe in the first quarter of the year – continues to offer an unbeatable combination of value and quality.
On Autocar’s decision to name the Jogger its family car champion, Mark Tisshaw, Editor, said: “The Dacia Jogger is 2023’s unexpected hero.
