Godalming, Surrey – 8 October 2025 – Austin Motor Company Limited is proud to announce the appointment of Shortfield Garage Limited as its newest retail and aftersales dealer, marking the first addition to the Austin network in more than four decades. The new dealership, to be known as Austin Surrey, represents a significant milestone in Austin’s ambitious plans to reestablish a nationwide and European dealer presence.
Operating since 2009, Shortfield Garage has built a strong reputation for putting customers first. Specialising in the sales, servicing, and MOT of quality vehicles, the family-run business has developed a loyal following and is recognised for its high workshop standards. Austin Surrey will offer full facilities for sales, service, and parts, providing local customers with a convenient and trusted destination for both heritage and contemporary Austin models.
The new showroom, ideally located next to Godalming’s mainline station into London Waterloo, will initially showcase the Austin Arrow, the first vehicle in Austin’s Heritage range. Further model launches are planned, underscoring Austin Motor Company’s commitment to blending the brand’s historic charm with modern design and technology.
