Milton Keynes, April 30, 2024 – Audi takes a significant leap in the realm of sustainable luxury mobility with the release of its new Q6 SUV e-tron quattro and SQ6 SUV e-tron quattro, now available for order in the UK. These models are the first to utilize the sophisticated Premium Platform Electric (PPE), marking a pivotal moment for Audi with enhancements in performance, technology, and design under the Vorsprung durch Technik ethos.
The launch models, priced at £68,975 for the Q6 SUV e-tron quattro and £92,950 for the SQ6 SUV e-tron quattro, offer a plethora of advancements including a driving range of up to 381 miles and ultra-fast charging capabilities at 270kW thanks to the innovative 800-volt technology. These SUVs also boast an impressive array of connectivity, infotainment, and driver assistance technologies powered by the new E3 1.2 electronic architecture.
Andrew Doyle, Director of Audi UK, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch: “The Audi Q6 e-tron exemplifies our commitment to premium electric mobility. This launch not only introduces significant advancements in technology and performance but also begins the most ambitious product initiative in Audi’s history.”
The initial UK launch includes the twin-motor Q6 SUV e-tron quattro and SQ6 SUV e-tron quattro, with more models such as the rear-wheel drive Q6 SUV e-tron and the Q6 SUV e-tron performance slated for release later this year, priced at £59,975 and £63,475 respectively. These models will be distinguished by a new, simplified powertrain naming convention, moving away from numerical designations to focus on model and specification levels: Sport, S line, and Edition 1.
The Q6 SUV e-tron quattro drivetrains are engineered with motors at both the front and rear axles, enhancing all-wheel drive capabilities. The SQ6 SUV e-tron quattro takes performance further with a power output of 490PS and a rapid 0-62 mph acceleration of just 4.3 seconds when using launch control.
Interior comfort hasn’t been overlooked, with all models featuring the slim, panoramic Audi MMI display. The Edition 1 models offer additional luxury with features like super sport seats in diamond-stitched Dinamica microfibre, a panoramic roof, OLED taillights, and adaptive air suspension for a seamless driving experience.
For a limited time, Audi is including the Sound and Vision pack with new Q6 SUV e-tron quattro orders. This pack enhances the already robust infotainment system with features like the Bang & Olufsen sound system and an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display.
