Johannesburg, March 2025 – Audi South Africa has unveiled the latest iteration of its popular A3 range, boasting refined aesthetics, upgraded standard features, and an overall enhanced driving experience. Alongside these updates, the brand is introducing the highly specified and locally exclusive Black Edition and Carbon Edition models. Later this year, the range will expand further with the addition of the all-new S3 Sportback and Sedan.

Refreshed Design and Enhanced Comfort

The 2025 Audi A3 and RS 3 Sportback and Sedan models feature a sportier look with updated design elements that accentuate their dynamic appeal. Premium materials and enhanced convenience features have been integrated into the cabins, ensuring an even more sophisticated and comfortable driving environment. The introduction of the Black Edition and Carbon Edition derivatives caters to customers seeking a more distinctive and performance-focused aesthetic.

Engine Line-Up and Trim Levels

The A3 range continues to offer the acclaimed 1.4-litre 35 TFSI turbocharged petrol engine, producing 110 kW and 250 Nm of torque. Paired with a smooth-shifting eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission, this powertrain balances efficiency and driving pleasure. Customers can choose between the S line or Black Edition trim levels for both Sportback and Sedan body styles.

For performance enthusiasts, the RS 3 Sportback and Sedan retain the legendary 2.5-litre TFSI five-cylinder engine, delivering an exhilarating 294 kW and 500 Nm of torque. With a blistering 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.8 seconds, the RS 3 ensures an adrenaline-fueled drive. Audi South Africa offers this model in standard or Carbon Edition trim, the latter being exclusively available to the local market.
