09 June 2025, Gaydon, Warwickshire – In a bold celebration of its return to the summit of endurance motorsport, Aston Martin has revealed the Valkyrie LM—an ultra-exclusive, non-homologated hypercar that brings the thrill of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship to just ten fortunate owners.
Strictly limited to a bespoke run of 10 examples, the Valkyrie LM isn’t just inspired by motorsport—it is motorsport. This is not a tribute. It’s not a lookalike. It is, in essence, the actual hypercar that will battle for overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2025, modified just enough to be usable by the most committed amateur drivers, and backed by the full engineering might of Aston Martin.
A Legacy Reignited
Aston Martin’s history at Le Mans runs deep, dating back to 1928. It’s a legacy crowned in 1959 by the famous DBR1 victory of Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby. With the return to top-class endurance racing in 2025, that history enters a new chapter. And Valkyrie LM is the first time a road-derived hypercar developed for the Le Mans grid has been made available to private individuals.
Adrian Hallmark, CEO of Aston Martin, describes the Valkyrie LM as “an exquisite opportunity to be part of the most exclusive Aston Martin owners club in the world.” And indeed, it’s more than a car—it’s an experience crafted for those who seek the visceral, undiluted truth of motorsport, without compromise.
The Machine: Track-Dominating DNA
At the heart of the Valkyrie LM lies the same Cosworth-built, 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 that powers Aston Martin’s Le Mans and IMSA challengers. Producing a regulation-limited 697bhp, the engine is lean-burn optimised and recalibrated to run on commercially available fuel, offering reliability without sacrificing performance. Gone are the race-specific electronics, torque sensors, and ballast, replaced with intuitive systems tailored to allow clients to fully explore the vehicle’s immense capabilities.
Performance is transferred to the rear wheels via a seven-speed sequential transmission with paddle shift, while the double wishbone pushrod suspension and bespoke Pirelli tyres—developed in partnership with F1® experts—keep the car glued to the tarmac. A fully immersive carbon-fibre cockpit with FIA-spec harnesses and a fire suppression system ensures the driver is as secure as they are engaged.
A Programme Like No Other
Ownership of the Valkyrie LM extends far beyond delivery. Each buyer is enrolled in Aston Martin’s bespoke driver development programme, a meticulously crafted experience that mirrors the training of professional endurance racers.
Delivered on a ‘fly-in-and-drive’ basis, the programme includes:
- Track day support at F1®-grade circuits
- Full technical team and car maintenance
- Data analytics and video analysis
- Simulator coaching and classroom instruction

The first vehicles will be delivered in Q2 2026, with inaugural drives to follow shortly after. The experience culminates in a prestigious end-of-year gala dinner at Aston Martin’s Gaydon HQ in December 2026.
