Andersen, the UK’s leading designer of premium electric vehicle (EV) chargers, has unveiled its most compact and accessible home charging solution to date: the all-new Andersen Quartz. Available now from just £685 (inc. VAT) or fully installed from £1,105 (inc. VAT), the Quartz combines elegant design, best-in-class functionality, and exceptional value—positioning it as a formidable new contender in the volume EV charging market.
Premium Performance in a Compact Package
The Andersen Quartz is a masterclass in engineering and aesthetics, shrinking the footprint of home charging without compromising on capability. Measuring 34% shorter and 45% narrower than the award-winning A3—previously the brand’s smallest unit—the Quartz delivers a sleek, unobtrusive profile that integrates effortlessly into any home environment.
Despite its reduced size, the Quartz offers full-fat functionality. Available as either a 7kW single-phase or 22kW three-phase unit, it supports the fastest possible home charging speeds. For the first time in Andersen’s product range, customers can opt for a socketed configuration, allowing them to use their own cable, or a tethered cable for maximum convenience.
Tailored to Every Taste
Staying true to the brand’s ethos of stylish customisation, the Quartz offers over 100 fascia and body colour combinations, including distinctive Accoya wood and carbon fibre trim options. Whether blending in with contemporary architecture or standing out as a design feature in its own right, the Quartz can be tailored to suit a wide range of personal aesthetics.

Smart Technology, Sustainable Design
Engineered by Andersen’s in-house R&D team, the Quartz is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics that support solar integration and smart charging. Users can take full advantage of off-peak electricity tariffs, scheduling charge sessions via the refreshed Andersen app to reduce costs and environmental impact. The app also enables detailed energy usage tracking, charge scheduling, and remote control, with an optional display screen available for added flexibility.
In line with Andersen’s commitment to quality and sustainability, each Quartz unit is hand-built in Bedfordshire using a robust, fully weatherproof cast-aluminium casing designed for long-term durability. Over 70% of the unit’s components are sourced from within the UK, reducing the product’s carbon footprint and supporting local manufacturing.
Backed by Industry-Leading Warranty
The Andersen Quartz is not only built to perform—it’s built to last. Like all Andersen products, it comes with a market-leading 7-year warranty, offering peace of mind for customers investing in a reliable, future-proof home charging solution.
Meeting the Market Where It’s Headed
David Martell, CEO of Andersen, believes the Quartz will open the door to a broader customer base as EV adoption accelerates:
“As the EV market moves towards mass adoption, we are extending our product portfolio to meet the needs and expectations of the wider range of customers that are now looking to invest in a domestic charge point that offers style as well as functionality.
We’ve made a significant investment in research and development and in our production facilities ahead of this launch, and we’re expecting the introduction of the Andersen Quartz to make the quality and style of Andersen home chargers available to greater numbers of discerning EV drivers.”
With production capacity doubled in anticipation of high demand, Andersen is well-prepared to meet the growing appetite for premium EV charging solutions—making the Quartz a milestone product in its journey to deliver innovation, elegance, and practicality to homes across the UK.
