Full line-up of Kawasaki Models on Show at the AMID Motorcycle Show
As part of the KMSA stable of motorcycle marques that includes Triumph, Moto Guzzi and Aprilia, Kawasaki is the Japanese manufacturer that is getting all the headlines at the moment, thanks to the efforts of Tom Sykes in the World Superbike Championship.
Long in the wilderness in racing, Sykes and his team are putting Kawasaki back where they deserve to be and this lustre is filtering down to the Kawasaki road bikes range.
Long regarded as one of the best of the litre superbikes, the ZX10R is an awesome piece of kit and its ability is matched by all the other bikes in the Kawasaki range, which must be one of the most comprehensive ranges from the Far East ‘big four’ companies.
Kawasaki will have their full range of motorbikes on their stand at the AMID Motorcycle Expo and a visit to the stand will be rewarding no matter what type or size of motorcycle you will be looking for.
One strange omission from the Kawasaki line-up is an adventure bike. They have come close with the Versys 1000 and the venerable KLR650 soldiers on in its own inimitable style, but the company has yet to go the full adventure route. But it doesn’t seem to be hurting their sales as the rest of the range seems to have the opposition licked.
Whether it’s the choice of 250cc, 300cc, 636cc, 800cc, 1000cc or 1400cc Z bikes, the cruisers or the astounding range of MX and enduro bikes, the green of Kawasaki looks set to be a strong player in the local market over the coming year.
