Alpine Showcases Legacy and Innovation at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024
Alpine is set to captivate attendees at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024 with a stunning display that highlights its rich heritage, current achievements, and exciting future. The event will feature the highly anticipated UK dynamic debut of the Alpine A290, the brand’s first electric sports car.
Fresh from its world premiere at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 220 bhp, fully-electric A290 will demonstrate its performance on the venue’s iconic 1.16-mile hill, part of the ‘First Glance’ showcase.
Alpine’s presence at Goodwood will be a testament to its storied motorsport history and forward-thinking innovations. The lineup includes the 493 bhp A110 Pikes Peak challenger, designed for aerodynamics and power, and the futuristic Alpenglow concept, which combines a lightweight carbon body with a 340 bhp, hydrogen-powered four-cylinder engine.
The festival will also feature Alpine’s historic gems, such as the 1975 A110 Group 4 Tour de Corse rally car, the BWT Alpine F1 Team showcar, the pioneering RS10 F1 car, and the formidable A442B endurance racer. These icons will be displayed alongside the A290 in the ‘First Glance’ feature.
Attendees can immerse themselves in the Alpine experience with a simulator challenge, where the fastest visitor can win an Alpine experience at Thruxton. Exclusive Alpine merchandise will also be available for purchase.
Adding to the excitement, the A110 R Le Mans, limited to just 100 units, will be showcased, along with the complete A110 range in the manufacturer parade, including the A110 S, A110 GT, A110 R, and A110 Enstone.
Alpine will also unveil the Atelier Alpine personalization program, offering a sneak peek at the new customization options for the A110. This program allows customers to select from 22 unique body colors inspired by Alpine’s history, paired with exclusive alloy wheels and brake caliper finishes.
