Alpine has officially lifted the veil on the first image of its highly anticipated A390, the brand’s inaugural 100% electric sport fastback. Set to make its world premiere on 27 May 2025, the A390 will be revealed in Dieppe, France—Alpine’s historic birthplace and the future production site for this revolutionary model at Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédélé.
The A390 marks the second chapter in Alpine’s Dream Garage, following the success of the A290 hot hatch. It promises to be a bold reinterpretation of Alpine’s racing DNA, taking inspiration from the legendary A110 while reimagining it as a high-performance, five-seater electric vehicle. With state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge aerodynamics, the A390 signals a new era for the French marque, seamlessly blending heritage with forward-thinking innovation.

This world premiere serves as a prelude to Alpine’s 70th anniversary celebrations, set to take place from 30 May to 1 June 2025 in Dieppe. The event, aptly named Grand Rassemblement Alpine, will bring together enthusiasts, industry leaders, and motorsport aficionados to commemorate seven decades of Alpine excellence.
Before its full reveal, Alpine had previously teased the concept version of the A390—the A390_β show car—at the 2024 Paris Motor Show on 14 October 2024. The unveiling of the production-ready model in May 2025 will confirm Alpine’s commitment to electrification while delivering an exhilarating driving experience that remains true to its sporting pedigree.
With the countdown officially underway, the A390 is poised to redefine expectations in the electric performance segment. Alpine’s latest creation is not just a car—it’s a statement, a fusion of legacy and cutting-edge innovation that promises to thrill driving purists and EV enthusiasts alike.
Stay tuned as the world prepares to welcome Alpine’s future icon on 27 May 2025.
