An estimated 40,000 motorsport fans were treated to an unforgettable start to the 82nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting as Alpine opened the prestigious event with a show-stopping parade of 70 cars—one for each year of the brand’s rich, racing-inspired history.
Taking to the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit, owners from around the globe brought together a dazzling array of Alpine models, from the earliest competition legends to the very latest in electric performance. The moving tribute marked not only the start of the exclusive Members’ Meeting weekend but also the beginning of Alpine’s 70th anniversary celebrations, set to continue throughout 2025.
A Living Legacy in Motion
Alpine’s parade was a dynamic illustration of the brand’s enduring DNA—born out of motorsport, defined by agility, and underpinned by lightness. Vehicles spanning seven decades rolled onto the track, including revered classics such as the A110 Berlinette, A310, GTA, and A610. These icons were not simply static museum pieces but living machines, many still raced or rallied by their passionate owners.
In a striking juxtaposition of past and future, the parade culminated with the public debut of the all-electric Alpine A290 hot hatch in right-hand drive form—fresh from winning the 2025 Car of the Year title. The compact EV heralds Alpine’s next chapter, one rooted in sustainable performance but still unmistakably linked to the marque’s competition heritage.
“The Alpine parade was the perfect way to kick-start the Goodwood Members’ Meeting weekend and our 70th anniversary celebrations in the UK,” said Nicola Burnside, Managing Director of Alpine Cars UK. “It linked our past to our present and underlined our race and rally DNA as we head into an electric era. It was an incredible sight to see so many historic Alpine racing cars and an unforgettable experience for the owners driving them.”

An Anniversary with Acceleration
As Alpine returns as lead automotive partner of the Goodwood Members’ Meeting for the second consecutive year, the brand has doubled down on delivering excitement—both on the move and on static display.
Taking pride of place in the paddock was the UK debut of the A110 R Ultime, the most extreme road-going Alpine ever created. Limited to just 110 units worldwide, this final evolution of the A110 pushes the envelope with 345bhp and a 0–62mph sprint in just 3.8 seconds. The car’s aggressive aero, stripped-down weight, and track-honed performance drew eager crowds throughout the weekend.
Alongside the Ultime, fans could explore the broader A110 family—from the refined GT to the sharper S and the radical R. For those curious about what’s next, the electric A290 was also on show, giving enthusiasts a close-up look at Alpine’s new vision for everyday performance.
A Fitting Stage for an Iconic Brand
Few venues could offer a more fitting backdrop for Alpine’s anniversary showcase than Goodwood—a location steeped in motorsport tradition and appreciated by fans who understand the value of history, craftsmanship and innovation.
With its founder Jean Rédélé’s ethos of agility and lightness echoing through every model on display, Alpine’s 70th anniversary is more than a milestone—it’s a celebration of staying true to a vision. And at Goodwood, that vision was not just remembered, but vividly brought to life.
As the electric era beckons, Alpine has made it clear: the spirit of competition, the joy of driving, and the thrill of innovation remain at its core. If the Goodwood Members’ Meeting is anything to go by, the next 70 years promise to be just as exhilarating.
