From 30 May to 1 June 2025, the coastal town of Dieppe—birthplace of the Alpine brand—transformed into a living monument of automotive passion, as 150,000 enthusiasts gathered to mark Alpine’s 70th anniversary. Across three sun-soaked days, the French marque delivered a celebration as bold and dynamic as its cars, paying homage to seven decades of motorsport heritage, technical innovation, and community spirit.
Dieppe’s seafront lawns became a veritable sea of blue, white, and red as more than 1,700 Alpine vehicles—spanning from vintage icons to cutting-edge prototypes—assembled in one of the largest brand gatherings in French automotive history. The occasion was not merely retrospective: it served as a platform for unveiling the future of Alpine, including the much-anticipated A390 sport fastback, the limited-run A110 R 70, and the A290, recently crowned 2025 Car of the Year.
The Future Rolls Out: A390 Takes Centre Stage
Headlining the weekend was the public debut of the A390, Alpine’s all-new electric sport fastback and the second model in its ‘Dream Garage’ trilogy. The vehicle was initially teased in a joint appearance by F1 driver Pierre Gasly and football legend Zinedine Zidane—Alpine’s ambassador and advocate for its equal opportunity initiatives. During the Dieppe festivities, Alpine CEO Philippe Krief formally unveiled the A390, which then took part in its inaugural public parade through the historic streets of Dieppe before joining 700 Alpine models in a landmark procession.
“The A390 is a fitting example of our DNA—looking to the future, yet fuelled by 70 years of passion and audacity,” Krief said. “Celebrating this milestone in Dieppe, where it all began, adds profound meaning to our journey.”

Exclusive Reveals and Reverent Tributes
Joining the A390 in the spotlight was the A110 R 70, a limited-edition series crafted as a tribute to the brand’s platinum jubilee. Alongside it, fans were treated to close encounters with the A110 GTS, the A110 R Ultime, and the radical Alpenglow Hy6 concept—equipped with Alpine’s first hydrogen-powered 6-cylinder internal combustion engine. For many, seeing the Alpenglow navigate Dieppe’s streets was a poignant glimpse into the brand’s commitment to future-focused propulsion.
Autograph sessions with Alpine Endurance Team’s Charles Milesi, immersive exhibitions, and high-octane parades turned the entire town into an Alpine-themed experience. But the emotional climax came with the record-setting parade on the former Dieppe/St-Aubin circuit: 700 Alpine vehicles covering 7 kilometres, symbolising each year of the brand’s legacy.
A Symbolic Identity for a Defining Era
To mark the occasion, Alpine unveiled a special 70th anniversary logo—a stylised extension of the A-arrow, now joined by the number 70. Rendered in France’s tricolour, the new emblem balances pride in national heritage with bold intent. At its core lies a red target wheel hub—a symbol of precision, drive, and the challenges Alpine is poised to conquer in the decades ahead.
A Legacy in Motion
Founded in 1955 by Jean Rédélé, Alpine was born from a blend of racing passion and technical ingenuity. Seventy years later, that spirit endures—embodied not only in every car bearing the Alpine name, but also in the vibrant, intergenerational community that supports it. Dieppe 2025 was not merely a celebration; it was a reaffirmation of Alpine’s place in the automotive pantheon and a bold declaration that its journey is far from over.
As Alpine charges forward—toward new markets, new technologies, and new ambitions—the energy of its 70th anniversary offers a compelling reminder: legacy isn’t just about the past. It’s the fuel that powers the future.
