The Final Chapter of a French Icon
In Dieppe, where passion and precision have intertwined for decades, a legend is preparing to take its final bow. The Alpine A110—an icon of agility, design, and pure driving pleasure—is entering the last phase of its storied petrol-powered life. The Manufacture Alpine Jean Rédélé Dieppe will soon produce the final 1,750 examples, including just 50 of the ultra-exclusive A110 R 70. By mid-2026, this final production run will bring the total number of second-generation A110s built since 2017 to nearly 30,000—a record for the brand and a resounding testament to its timeless appeal.
But endings are never truly endings at Alpine. They’re preludes to evolution. As the final A110s leave the production line, work is already underway on the next chapter—a new, all-electric A110 built on the Alpine Performance Platform (APP), entirely developed in-house. The spirit of Dieppe will remain, but it will hum to a new electric rhythm.
From Berlinetta to Benchmark
The story of Alpine is inseparable from the man who founded it. Jean Rédélé’s vision in 1962 gave birth to the Alpine Berlinetta—a car that distilled French craftsmanship, lightness, and motorsport spirit into a single, elegant form. It wasn’t merely fast; it was intuitive. Its agility and ease of handling made it a sensation on winding roads and rally stages alike.
And in 1973, it etched its name into motorsport history by becoming the first car to win the World Rally Championship. That victory solidified Alpine’s place not just in French motoring heritage, but in the collective imagination of driving purists worldwide.
When Alpine returned to the market in 2017, the A110 rekindled that same magic. It wasn’t a reinvention—it was a rebirth. Echoing the charm of its ancestor while embracing modern engineering, the new A110 became a beacon for enthusiasts seeking purity in a world obsessed with power figures and digital filters. Against all trends, its sales continued to climb, proving that authenticity never goes out of style.

A Farewell in Three Acts
As Alpine prepares for its next electric era, the current A110 lineup offers three distinct expressions of its DNA—each a celebration of what makes the car so special.
A110 — The Purest Expression
Faithful to the original Berlinetta’s spirit, the A110 remains a lightweight, precision-engineered sports car powered by a 252 hp engine. Its balanced proportions and 18-inch diamond-cut Serac Noir wheels embody understated performance, while Sabelt microfibre bucket seats and anthracite Brembo callipers complete the package. This is the Alpine experience in its most essential form—simple, beautiful, and effortlessly fast.
A110 GTS — The Grand Touring Spirit
Replacing the former GT and S versions, the new A110 GTS strikes the perfect harmony between everyday comfort and track-focused excitement. Under the bonnet, a 300 hp engine pairs with a dynamic chassis borrowed from the A110 S. Its optional GTS aerodynamic kit, derived from the A110 R, enhances both aesthetics and stability. Inside, grey leather and carbon fibre details create an ambience of refined sportiness—a true dual-purpose machine for those who crave versatility without compromise.
A110 R 70 — The Swan Song
Marking Alpine’s 70th anniversary, the limited-edition A110 R 70 is a masterpiece of lightness and engineering intensity. With carbon fibre woven through its soul—from the bonnet to the roof, wheels, and spoiler—it’s the ultimate evolution of the A110 philosophy. A 300 hp engine and razor-sharp chassis deliver an experience closer to a race car than a road car. Each of the 770 numbered units features 70th Anniversary badging and detailing—a collector’s dream that doubles as a high-speed tribute.
Looking Beyond the Horizon
As the final A110s roll out of Dieppe, there’s a bittersweet poetry in their departure. They close a chapter that began more than 60 years ago, a chapter that defined what it means to build a car that connects driver and machine as one.
Yet Alpine has never stood still. With its first electric models—the A290 hot hatch and the A390 GT crossover—already paving the way, the brand is poised to reimagine performance for a new generation. And at the heart of that future will be the reborn A110, now transformed into a fully electric Berlinetta.
Lightweight. Agile. Unmistakably Alpine.
The legend continues—charged for a new era.
