In the world of high-performance sports cars, exclusivity is often a defining factor. Alpine has taken this principle to its zenith with the A110 R Ultime, a masterpiece of engineering and design, produced in a strictly limited run of just 110 units. As the ultimate iteration of the A110, this ultra-lightweight, aerodynamically refined, and track-honed machine represents the purest expression of Alpine’s racing DNA.
An Icon Reborn with Ultimate Performance
Hand-assembled at the historic Jean Rédélé Alpine factory in Dieppe, the A110 R Ultime is not merely an evolution of its predecessors but a revolutionary step forward. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in a blistering 3.8 seconds, it shaves an astonishing 20 seconds off the A110 R’s lap time at the fabled Nordschleife circuit. This is a testament to Alpine’s relentless pursuit of performance, achieved through meticulous engineering rather than sheer horsepower alone.
With a finely tuned 1.8-litre turbocharged engine producing up to 345 bhp* and a featherlight chassis, the A110 R Ultime boasts an exceptional power-to-weight ratio. Every component has been optimised to reduce weight, enhance aerodynamics, and refine handling dynamics, setting a new benchmark for Alpine road cars.
Race-Bred Engineering for the Road
The A110 R Ultime is the culmination of decades of Alpine’s motorsport expertise, including insights gained from its GT4 racing programme and Formula 1 developments. Engineers approached the project with the mindset of a racing team, refining every detail to push the limits of road-legal performance.
The bespoke DCT6 gearbox has been recalibrated to handle the increased power, while the suspension has been overhauled with Öhlins® TTX dampers, featuring adjustable height and two-way hydraulic settings for compression and rebound. Michelin PS CUP 2 tyres, developed specifically for the Ultime, provide uncompromising grip, while enhanced braking systems with motorsport-derived components ensure optimal stopping power.
Aerodynamically, the A110 R Ultime achieves a 160 kg reduction in downforce compared to the A110 R, with extensive modifications such as an adjustable biplane rear wing, ducktail spoiler, and revised cooling vents. These refinements contribute to a sharper, more responsive driving experience, delivering a visceral connection between driver and machine.

Ultra-Personalisation: A Bespoke Supercar Experience
For the first time in Alpine’s history, customers have access to an ultra-personalisation programme, transforming their A110 R Ultime into a true one-of-a-kind creation. Through the Atelier Sur-Mesure programme, enthusiasts can select from an extensive palette of 28 body colours, along with a choice of 14 Alcantara® shades and 10 premium leather options from the renowned Italian specialist Poltrona Frau®.
This meticulous attention to detail extends to every aspect of the car, from body-coloured aerodynamic carbon parts to bespoke interior trims. Of particular note is the exclusive “La Bleue” edition, limited to 30 examples, featuring a striking dual-tone blue gradient exterior and a refined black and blue leather interior, exemplifying Alpine’s commitment to French luxury craftsmanship.
A Legacy in Motion
The A110 R Ultime is more than just a high-performance machine; it is a defining moment in Alpine’s storied history. As the swansong of the A110 lineage before the transition to electrification, it stands as a bridge between Alpine’s glorious past and its ambitious future. The lessons learned in developing this extreme sports car will undoubtedly influence the next generation of Alpine models, starting with the highly anticipated electric A110 set to arrive in late 2026.
As Alpine CEO Philippe Krief aptly states, “The A110 R Ultime is the absolute essence of what we want to achieve at Alpine, designing dynamic vehicles that place driving pleasure above all else.”
For those fortunate enough to secure one of the 110 allocations, the A110 R Ultime is more than a car—it is an experience, an artefact of automotive excellence, and a future classic in the making.
Power achieved with 102 RON fuel (data subject to homologation).
