MG Motor UK has officially opened order books for the all-new MGS6 EV, a refined, generously equipped C-SUV that expands the brand’s fast-growing electric vehicle offering. Powered by a 77 kWh battery and available in both rear- and all-wheel-drive configurations, the newcomer arrives with a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, a suite of advanced technologies and the spaciousness expected from a modern family SUV.
Positioned alongside the recently introduced IM6, the MGS6 EV signals MG’s continued push into new market segments—combining value, innovation and safety in a package designed to appeal to a broad range of drivers.
A Line-Up Built Around Customer Choice
MG will offer the MGS6 EV in three distinct variants, each engineered to deliver strong performance and long-distance capability without compromising affordability.
The MGS6 EV SE Long Range serves as the starting point in the line-up, featuring a single 180 kW motor with rear-wheel drive and a WLTP-combined range of 329 miles*. It arrives well-equipped as standard, showcasing MG’s approach of democratising cutting-edge technology.
Stepping up to the Trophy Long Range adds another layer of comfort and convenience. It retains the same motor, power output and 329-mile* range, but enhances the cabin and infotainment offering with additional premium features.
For drivers seeking performance and all-weather confidence, the range-topping Trophy Dual Motor introduces all-wheel drive, increasing power output to 266 kW. The result is a responsive, confident SUV capable of accelerating from 0–62mph in 5.1 seconds, while still achieving an impressive 301-mile WLTP range*.
Regardless of spec, every MGS6 EV supports 10–80% charging in just 38 minutes via rapid public chargers. Five driving modes and five regeneration settings—including a one-pedal driving mode—allow owners to fine-tune the driving experience to their preferences.
Built on MG’s Proven Modular Scalable Platform
The MGS6 EV becomes the third MG model to utilise the acclaimed Modular Scalable Platform (MSP)—the advanced architecture first seen in the MG4 EV. MSP enables excellent weight distribution, low-centre-of-gravity handling and packaging efficiencies that contribute to the MGS6 EV’s spacious, refined interior.
Inside, all variants feature a 10.25-inch High Definition Driver Display and a 12.8-inch infotainment screen. Trophy models elevate the experience with a Head-Up Display, projecting essential information—such as navigation instructions and safety alerts—into the driver’s line of sight.
Comfort and luxury also take a step forward on Trophy versions, which include heated and ventilated front seats, an 11-speaker audio system, and a panoramic sunroof. MG is also introducing new upholstery options—grey or beige leather-style seats with suede-effect inserts—to deliver a more premium cabin feel.

A Milestone Model for MG’s Expanding EV Range
David Allison, Head of Product and Planning for MG Motor UK, emphasises the importance of the new arrival:
“The MGS6 EV is a significant new offering from MG, and our eighth all-electric car to be launched in our UK home market, building on proven cars like the MG4 EV hatchback but also drawing inspiration from our premium MGs like the dramatic Cyberster convertible. MG’s overall experience and knowledge as one of the best-selling EV manufacturers, with over 100,000 cars delivered to UK customers, ensures drivers get a stylish SUV that stands apart from the crowd.”
With its combination of range, refinement, performance and value, the all-new MGS6 EV strengthens MG’s award-winning EV line-up and reinforces its reputation as a leader in accessible electric mobility.
