In anticipation of its dynamic debut at the Balocco Proving Ground in Vercelli province, the Alfa Romeo Junior VELOCE nears the culmination of its development phase. Crafted by the esteemed Italian team behind iconic models like the 4C, 8C, Giulia & Stelvio Quadrifoglio, Giulia GTA, and the ongoing 33 Stradale project, this compact sports car embodies Alfa Romeo’s signature blend of innovation and performance.
Underpinning the Junior VELOCE’s prowess is a 100% electric motor delivering 280 CV / 207 kW and 345 Nm of torque, aligning seamlessly with Alfa Romeo’s VELOCE lineage, which includes models like the Giulia, Stelvio, and Tonale VELOCE.

Every aspect of the Junior VELOCE has been meticulously engineered to elevate driving dynamics and exhilaration. The steering boasts ad-hoc calibration for unparalleled precision (14.6), complemented by a sports suspension lowered by 25 mm and extra sporty front and rear anti-roll bars, ensuring agile cornering and exceptional grip. The braking system features over 380 mm front discs with four-piston monobloc calipers, while a Torsen differential optimizes traction across all conditions. High-performance 20” tires tailored for electric vehicles further enhance grip and responsiveness.
Set against the backdrop of the Balocco Proving Ground’s renowned “Langhe” circuit, the international press will witness the Junior VELOCE undergo rigorous testing ahead of its type approval phase. For the first time, external drivers will navigate the exclusive 20 km route, historically reserved for Alfa Romeo’s development and racing teams, including the legendary “Alfa Corse” squad who honed their F1, DTM, and Super Turismo machines on these very tracks.
The Alfa Romeo Junior VELOCE stands as a testament to Italian automotive excellence, poised to redefine the compact sports car segment with its blend of electric performance and unmistakable Alfa Romeo spirit.
