Alfa Romeo has confirmed that orders for the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio have reopened, reaffirming the Italian marque’s commitment to enthusiasts who value the brand’s most focused expression of performance. The move forms part of Alfa Romeo’s broader strategy to extend production of the current Giulia and Stelvio range through to 2027, ensuring that the legendary Quadrifoglio badge continues to represent the pinnacle of the brand’s engineering and driving passion.
The decision follows strong demand from loyal customers and collectors eager to secure one of Alfa Romeo’s most celebrated performance models. By extending the life of the current generation, the brand maintains a vital connection with two of the most iconic vehicles to wear the Biscione emblem.
According to Alfa Romeo CEO Santo Ficili, the reopening of orders honours a promise made to drivers who seek the purest performance experiences the brand can offer. He emphasised that the Quadrifoglio symbol remains one of the most powerful expressions of Alfa Romeo’s heritage, representing more than a century of technical excellence developed through both motorsport and road car innovation.
The famous Quadrifoglio emblem dates back to 1923 when Alfa Romeo driver Ugo Sivocci painted a four-leaf clover on his Alfa Romeo RL before claiming victory at the Targa Florio. Since that moment, the symbol has become synonymous with the brand’s highest-performance machines, appearing on both competition cars and its most powerful production models.
The Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio embody this heritage through a combination of advanced engineering, lightweight construction and race-inspired design. Extensive use of ultra-light materials contributes to their remarkable performance, with aluminium used for the engine and carbon fibre featured throughout key structural and aesthetic components including the transmission shaft, bonnet, spoiler, side skirts, dashboard and body panels.
The Giulia Quadrifoglio also benefits from active aerodynamics through a carbon-fibre front splitter that adjusts airflow beneath the car, improving stability and overall performance at speed. Complementing the dynamic character is an Akrapovič exhaust system, producing a distinctive and emotive soundtrack that deepens the connection between driver and machine.
Powering both models is Alfa Romeo’s formidable 2.9-litre V6 engine delivering 520 hp (375 kW). The powerplant represents the brand’s enduring commitment to performance and driver engagement, translating Alfa Romeo’s racing DNA into a road-going experience defined by sharp responses and exhilarating acceleration.
The engine works in conjunction with a mechanical limited-slip differential designed to optimise torque distribution and traction. This system enhances stability and agility while improving cornering performance. In the Giulia Quadrifoglio, power is delivered to the rear wheels, while the Stelvio Quadrifoglio pairs the same V6 engine with Alfa Romeo’s Q4 all-wheel drive system to provide confident performance across a wider range of driving conditions.
Visually, both models continue to reflect their motorsport inspiration. Burnished five-hole alloy wheels reinforce the signature Alfa Romeo aesthetic, measuring 19 inches on the Giulia and 21 inches on the Stelvio. Anodised grey brake calipers and carbon-fibre aerodynamic elements underline their high-performance character, while the Giulia also features a carbon-fibre rear spoiler.
The racing influence extends into the cabin where drivers are welcomed by Sparco sports seats upholstered in leather and Alcantara with exposed carbon-fibre details. The interior design balances luxury and performance, creating a cockpit that reinforces the driver-focused philosophy that has long defined Alfa Romeo’s most exciting models.
Customers will be able to specify their Quadrifoglio in a range of striking colours including Rosso Etna, Verde Montreal, Blu Misano, Grigio Vesuvio, Nero Vulcano and Rosso Alfa. Together with the distinctive Quadrifoglio badge, these finishes emphasise the unmistakable presence of Alfa Romeo’s flagship performance machines.
By reopening orders and extending production through to 2027, Alfa Romeo ensures that the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio remain central to the brand’s identity. Blending technical purity, advanced materials and unmistakable Italian character, the two models continue to stand at the apex of their respective segments for handling and power-to-weight performance.
