In addition to the recently facelifted FIT eHEV, Honda has refreshed the rest of the FIT range with new and sporty styling, in addition to enhanced specification levels.

New design elements such as revised bumpers create a more cohesive, characterful aesthetic, which better reflect the car’s dynamic personality, while retaining the iconic shape of the FIT with the clean, crisp horizontal lines with dynamic touches that give it a new personality.

These enhancements stay true to Honda’s original Japanese ‘Yoo no bi’ design philosophy – recognising the beauty in everyday items refined over time, to make them even more beautiful and ergonomically satisfying for their specific purpose.

This more characterful style, with a greater degree of sophistication and sportiness, is evident on all three grades, the Comfort, Elegance and FIT eHEV. Not only through the refreshed honeycomb grille design and grained lower front bumper insert, but also with a more sculpted appearance and grained material finish to the rear bumper.

The window frames and pillar trim now feature a more stylish matte black finish that seamlessly matches with materials used on other exterior trim surfaces. On all FIT grades the headlight projector ring surround is now finished in black, creating a more characterful expression.

In addition to the recently introduced FIT eHEV facelift, the facelifted FIT (ICE) variants are available in two derivatives – Comfort and Elegance, which have received comprehensive updates to their standard specification levels, while the FIT Executive variant has been discontinued.

A host of advanced features including LED headlights and Daytime Running lights, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Smart Keyless Entry, Honda’s flagship 9-inch HMI Infotainment system, and Honda SENSING™ are now standard features across the model range. The FIT Elegance variant also now gains a new wireless Smartphone charger in addition to the abovementioned specification enhancements.

Honda SENSING™ is Honda’s industry leading suite of comprehensive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, offering unrivalled levels of safety in the segment, and establishing Honda’s strategy to make advanced safety technology more widely available for its customers across multiple model ranges.

Enhanced Honda SENSING™ active safety technology offers a broad range of driver assistance features and aids as standard, thanks to a front wide-view camera with a broader field of vision and night-time operation, increasing safety in more situations.

The camera recognizes a comprehensive range of road surface and traffic characteristics, while also eliminating fogging for a constantly clear field of view.

Enhanced Honda SENSING™ technologies include:

  • Collision Mitigation Braking System™: Applies the brakes when the FIT cuts across or turns into the path of a car. It can also detect pedestrians and cyclists when there is no street lighting at night.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control: Manages the gap to the car in front and allows the car to follow vehicles at highway speeds.
  • Lane Keep Assist: Helps keep the FIT centered in a detected lane by applying steering assistance if the vehicle begins to drift out of the detected lane.
  • Road Departure Mitigation System: Helps the driver stay on the road, by alerting them if the vehicle approaches the outer edge of the pavement (into a curb, grass or gravel border), an oncoming vehicle, or drifting into another lane without indicating.
  • Auto High-Beam: Works at speeds of more than 40km/h to automatically switch high beam head lights on or off depending on oncoming and preceding vehicles (cars, trucks and motorcycles), bicycles and environmental light.

Warranty and Pricing:

The refreshed FIT range comes standard with a 5-year / 200,000km Warranty, a 4-year / 60,000km service plan, and 3 years of AA roadside assistance included in the retail price.

The FIT Hybrid grade includes an additional extended warranty of 8-year / 200,000km covering the Lithium-ion battery and other related components of the Hybrid system.
