Milton Keynes, UK, 25 April 2023 – The Volkswagen Multivan has been named ‘Best Large Car’ at the 2023 Autocar Awards, after being commended for its impressive flexibility, comfort, practicality and refinement.
The Autocar Awards recognise the best of the automotive industry, with manufacturers judged against a set of rigorous criteria by the publication’s expert panel of editors.
The Multivan, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ first plug-in hybrid offering, boasts a flexible seating configuration, with ample room for storage, leading judges to celebrate its “unrivalled practicality” within the MPV space. This, in addition to the high level of comfort and refinement found in the cabin, saw the Multivan take home ‘Best Large Car’.
Also commended was the vehicle’s generous selection of accessories and equipment, including electric sliding doors, a multi-function table, and rotating, moveable and removeable seats. Collectively, this provides customers with the flexibility to adapt the Multivan to suit their own operating needs, whether travelling for business or leisure.
