Bentley has unveiled a remarkable one-off Continental GTC created in collaboration with three extraordinary women from the world of music, blending their artistic visions into a singular expression of craftsmanship, sound and personal storytelling. Designed in partnership with Bentley’s bespoke division, Mulliner, the convertible grand tourer reflects the creative identities of celebrated organist and conductor Anna Lapwood MBE, virtuoso cellist and composer Tina Guo, and pioneering DJ and producer Sister Bliss.
The bespoke Continental GTC will make its public debut on International Women’s Day at a female-focused cars and coffee gathering hosted by Bentley at Bicester Motion, organised in collaboration with What She Drives. The event celebrates female creativity and influence within automotive and cultural spaces, making it the perfect stage for a car that was conceived and crafted as a tribute to women in music.
The project began in March 2025 when the three artists visited Bentley’s campus in Crewe and worked closely with Mulliner’s design consultants to shape the car’s aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from their careers, their instruments and the music that defines them, the trio created a design that merges performance artistry with the meticulous craftsmanship Bentley is known for. Two female design consultants from Mulliner led the project, ensuring every detail captured the creative spirit of its collaborators.
The exterior design sets the tone immediately. Finished in striking Peacock Satin paint, the Continental GTC carries a refined yet dramatic presence. Accents in Tornado Red trace along the gloss black lower front bumper and rear diffuser, while the wing mirrors receive a satin Tornado Red treatment to echo the red brake calipers. Even the 22-inch ten-spoke wheels incorporate the Peacock Satin colour within their pockets, creating visual harmony between bodywork and wheel design, while the roof is finished in Dark Grey Metallic.
Inside the cabin, the artists collaborated on a palette that reflects both musical passion and elegant restraint. Imperial Blue forms the foundation of the interior, paired with vivid Pillar Box Red highlights and complemented by Gold accent hide. Intricate contrast stitching using Imperial Blue, Pillar Box Red and Gold thread creates subtle visual rhythm throughout the cabin. Headrest bezels normally finished in chrome are instead painted Imperial Blue Satin to blend seamlessly into the surrounding leather.
The Bentley Rotating Display features inner dials finished in Pillar Box Red, while the Bang & Olufsen audio system is enhanced by anodised Gold and Beluga speaker grilles. Mulliner overmats in Imperial Blue with Gold micropiping add another carefully considered layer of detail, reinforcing the sophisticated colour interplay throughout the interior.
Each musician contributed a distinctive feature that speaks directly to her artistic world. Tina Guo selected the fascia’s Copper Stone veneer, a real stone material just 0.6 mm thick. Its deep red and gold tones perfectly complement the cabin palette while evoking a raw, ancient aesthetic inspired by her exploration of tribal music traditions. The stone veneer’s natural formation echoes landscapes shaped over hundreds of thousands of years, bringing a sense of timelessness to the interior.
Sister Bliss introduced a design element never before seen in a Bentley. Inspired by the waveforms that define electronic music production, a bespoke soundwave embroidery pattern runs across the seats and doors in subtle Imperial Blue thread. The motif appears again on the convertible’s tonneau cover, stitched in bold Pillar Box Red, and continues onto the treadplates. When the doors open, an animated interpretation of the soundwave is projected onto the ground through bespoke puddle lamps, transforming a technical audio concept into an immersive visual signature.
Anna Lapwood found her inspiration in a detail deeply rooted in Bentley’s design language. The air vent controls inside every Bentley are known as Organ Stops, named for their resemblance to the tactile controls used on pipe organs. Recognising an immediate connection to her instrument, Lapwood specified that the Organ Stops in this Continental GTC be finished in 24-carat gold. The gleaming controls stand out elegantly against the interior palette, creating a subtle tribute to the artistry of organ performance.
The final flourish appears on the centre console, where a polished stainless steel plaque carries the engraved signatures of the three musicians alongside a unique Spotify code. Scanning the code opens a bespoke playlist curated by Lapwood, Guo and Sister Bliss, allowing drivers to experience the car with a soundtrack personally selected by its creators and delivered through the car’s premium audio system.
Following its debut at the International Women’s Day gathering, the Extraordinary Women Continental GTC will join Bentley’s UK press fleet for several months before eventually being offered for sale. More than simply a one-off luxury convertible, the car stands as a celebration of musical creativity, collaboration and the growing influence of women across both the automotive and music industries.
