Kia UK has successfully maintained its status as a Great Place To Work Certified™ organisation, reflecting its commitment to fostering an exceptional work environment. This certification, a symbol of workplace excellence, comes from extensive, data-driven evaluation by Great Place to Work®, incorporating direct and anonymous feedback from employees.

The For All™ methodology, employed by Great Place to Work®, has validated that a remarkable 91% of Kia UK employees endorse their workplace’s environment, and 82% consistently report positive experiences. This methodology ensures a comprehensive analysis of the workplace culture and employee satisfaction.

Gemma Benbow, Kia UK’s Head of People & Organisation, expressed pride in achieving this certification consecutively, with improvements in scores across all categories. “Receiving such positive feedback continually drives our efforts to innovate and improve our workplace policies,” she remarked. Notably, Kia UK recently introduced a new policy to support employees caring for family members, highlighting its responsive and evolving human resources practices.

Employee testimonials echo the company’s strong community feel, effective leadership, and a clear vision for the future, further reinforcing Kia UK’s credentials as an employer of choice. “Being part of Kia feels like being part of a large family where everyone’s voice matters,” one employee shared.

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK, praised Kia’s focus on enhancing employee experience as a cornerstone for building trust and a thriving corporate culture, leading to superior business performance. “Congratulations to Kia UK on this achievement,” he added.

Earlier in March 2024, Kia UK was recognized as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ in the large company category, driven by employee feedback on various aspects including trust in management and corporate strategy. The company’s commitment to employee satisfaction and workplace excellence was also evident when it was named in the 2023 Best Workplaces™ for Women list, alongside twelve other Kia subsidiaries across Europe achieving similar distinctions.
