London, 30 January 2026 – CHERY UK this week hosted its first-ever retailer-focused conference in Coventry, marking a milestone in the brand’s rapid UK expansion and recognising the outstanding performance of its retail partners. The event, hosted by TV presenter Georgie Barrat, provided a platform to share CHERY’s vision for sustainable growth in 2026 and beyond.
Since launching in the UK in August 2025, CHERY has already made a notable impact. In just four months, the brand sold over 5,500 vehicles, capturing a 1.09% market share* through a network of 58 retailers – a number that continues to grow as CHERY builds long-term partnerships across the country.
Farrell Hsu, CHERY UK Country Director, reflected on the brand’s rapid progress: “Our vision is focused on sustainable, profitable growth and developing long-term partnerships. The CHERY UK Retailer Conference also shone a spotlight on the achievements of its network, with awards recognising excellence in sales, marketing, innovation, and compliance. Among the honourees were:
