Alfred E. Rieck (56), a member of the Opel Management Board responsible for sales, marketing and aftersales, has resigned from his position. Duncan Aldred (43), currently Chairman and Managing Director, Vauxhall Motors, was named Acting Opel/Vauxhall Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Aftersales in addition to his current position, effective immediately.

Luton – Vauxhall has announced the following organisational change, effective from 1st December 2012. Andy Robson, currently Retail Network Development Director, has been appointed Aftersales Director, GM UK and will report directly to Vauxhall’s Chairman and Managing Director, Duncan Aldred, as well as Opel/Vauxhall’s Executive Director of Aftersales, Markus Sternberg.

Luton – Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles has secured top spot in the retail market for March and year-to-date according to figures released today by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. The Luton-based manufacturer sold an impressive 2,494 vans to small businesses last month.
