13 October 2025 – Gaydon, UK: The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 has once again proven its pedigree as one of the world’s most successful GT race cars, concluding the 2025 season with a clean sweep of major championships across Europe and North America. Headlining this dominant run, Verstappen.com Racing clinched the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Gold Cup title at the Barcelona finale, capping a remarkable debut campaign for the team and underscoring the Vantage GT3’s exceptional performance and reliability.
The British-Dutch trio of Harry King, Chris Lulham, and Thierry Vermeulen sealed both the Drivers’ and Teams’ crowns after finishing third in class at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The result followed their standout class victory at the Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa, where they also achieved a top-ten finish overall. This triumph builds on Aston Martin’s growing success in the GT World Challenge series, where Comtoyou Racing had already secured the Silver Cup Drivers’ and Teams’ championships in the Sprint Cup.
Transatlantic Success: The Heart of Racing Shines in IMSA
Just a day earlier, the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 was celebrating on the other side of the Atlantic as The Heart of Racing (THOR) secured the runner-up spot in the IMSA GTD Teams’ Championship. The finale at Michelin Petit Le Mans, Road Atlanta, saw the team’s Vantage GT3—driven by Tom Gamble, Casper Stevenson, and Zacharie Robichon—deliver a strong fourth-place finish after running inside the top five for most of the ten-hour endurance race.
The result confirmed third place in the Drivers’ standings for Stevenson and second in Teams’ points for THOR, with all three drivers also sharing third in the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup. The consistency of THOR’s campaign, highlighted by their earlier win at Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen, reinforced Aston Martin’s presence at the forefront of North American endurance racing.
Vantage GT4 Continues to Deliver Titles on Both Sides of the Atlantic
While the Vantage GT3 collected accolades in premier GT championships, the Vantage GT4 continued its extraordinary run of form with multiple titles in both Europe and North America.
In Europe, Mirage Racing’s duo Stanislav Safronov and Aleksandr Vaintrub added the Pro-Am Drivers’ and Teams’ titles in the GT4 European Championship, just a week after claiming the overall Drivers’ and Teams’ crowns in the FFSA GT (French GT4) series.
Across the Atlantic, Team TGM capped an impressive season by winning the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge GS Bronze title, with Ted Giovanis and Hugh Plumb taking victory in the season finale at Road Atlanta. Van der Steur Racing’s Christine Sloss completed a one-two finish for Aston Martin in the final standings, further demonstrating the strength and consistency of the Vantage platform across multiple series.

A Week of Glory for an Icon of Modern GT Racing
In total, the Aston Martin Vantage recorded eight major championship victories in just seven days, including:
- GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Gold Cup – Verstappen.com Racing
- British GT Silver-Am title – Beechdean Motorsport (Andrew Howard and Tom Wood)
- FFSA GT and GT4 European Championships – Mirage Racing
- IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge GS Bronze – Team TGM
This remarkable run reaffirms the Vantage’s reputation as a benchmark in global GT competition. With its bonded aluminium chassis and twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine, the Vantage GT3 shares its mechanical DNA with Aston Martin’s acclaimed road car—blending precision engineering with the visceral thrill of motorsport.
The Vantage GT3’s success story is already etched into racing history, with class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Rolex 24 at Daytona, and the Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa, alongside countless national and international triumphs.
The Heart of a Champion
Reflecting on this extraordinary period of success, Adam Carter, Aston Martin’s Head of Endurance Motorsport, commented:
“Vantage’s greatest strengths, particularly the current GT3 and GT4 models, are its versatility and adaptability at different types of racetracks and its accessibility for drivers of all levels, whether they be Aston Martin works drivers or gifted bronze competitors. That’s only possible because of the mechanical architecture of the production vehicle on which the race car is based, and this platform has enabled AMR partner teams across the globe to truly excel in 2025. That we can celebrate eight titles achieved in the past week is a testament to this. We congratulate all the new champions from the Aston Martin family and hope that we can add more wins and titles globally as the 2025 motor racing season draws to a close.”
A Season to Remember
As the 2025 season concludes, the Aston Martin Vantage stands as a symbol of endurance, excellence, and engineering mastery—a car that has not only conquered racetracks across continents but has also united teams, drivers, and fans in a shared celebration of performance and precision.
From Barcelona to Road Atlanta, from Silverstone to Spa, the Vantage has reaffirmed what it means to carry the wings: a commitment to pushing boundaries and redefining greatness in modern GT racing.
