Gaydon, UK – 1 May 2025 — Aston Martin has reaffirmed its commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion by signing the Armed Forces Covenant, pledging formal support to veterans, reservists, and military families as part of its ongoing mission to create a more inclusive workplace.
The signing ceremony, held on Monday 28 April at Aston Martin’s global headquarters in Gaydon, was led by Chief Executive Officer Adrian Hallmark and Major General Dan Reeve MC, General Officer Commanding 1st Division. The event brought together a cross-section of Aston Martin employees, including veterans and reservists whose military service has enriched the company’s culture and technical capabilities.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a national commitment to ensure that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces—and their families—are treated with fairness and respect in their communities, workplaces, and society at large. With this public declaration, Aston Martin joins a growing network of more than 13,000 UK organisations that have pledged their support to the Armed Forces community.

“We’re incredibly proud to sign the Armed Forces Covenant,” said Adrian Hallmark, Aston Martin’s Chief Executive Officer. “At Aston Martin, we recognise the outstanding value that veterans, reservists and military families bring to our business – from technical expertise to a strong sense of teamwork and leadership. This pledge is a meaningful step in ensuring we create a supportive, inclusive environment where every colleague can thrive.”
Major General Dan Reeve MC welcomed the partnership, stating: “We are pleased to welcome Aston Martin Lagonda as a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant. This public commitment reinforces the company’s recognition of the value and skills that veterans, reservists, and military families bring to the workplace.”
The pledge outlines a number of commitments Aston Martin will implement, including:
- Supporting current and prospective employees from the Armed Forces community
- Promoting the brand as an Armed Forces-friendly employer
- Welcoming applications from veterans, reservists, military spouses/partners, and cadet instructors
- Establishing an internal Armed Forces Employee Resource Group for peer support and advocacy
- Commemorating important dates such as Armistice Day to honour the service and sacrifice of military personnel
This move aligns with Aston Martin’s broader Equity, Diversity and Inclusion strategy and underscores the brand’s ambition to be not only a world leader in luxury performance cars, but also a great place to work for people from all backgrounds.
By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, Aston Martin deepens its dedication to fostering a workplace culture where military experience is not only respected—but celebrated.
