LONDON, UK (March 21, 2024) – Nissan GB has announced the appointment of a new Aftersales Director as it accelerates its business transformation strategy and transitions to become an all-electric brand by 2030.

Nicolas Belaud moves from Nissan Motors Thailand – where he led the Aftersales Division – to begin a new challenge in the UK as NMGB Aftersales Director from April 1st 2024.

Nicolas takes over from Chris Marsh, who has been appointed as Director, Aftersales Importers and Services Repairs for the AMIEO region.

Andrew Humberstone, Managing Director of Nissan GB, said: “Congratulations to Chris on his new appointment and I would like to thank him for his ever-present enthusiasm and expertise at NMGB over the last 32 years, which has made him a very popular, highly valued and respected colleague.

“Chris has successfully grown our UK aftersales business, increased revenues, profits and workshop retention rates with consistently strong performance. I wish him and his family all the very best for the future.”

Andrew added: “I’d also like to welcome Nicolas to Nissan GB and look forward to working with him as we look to the future. He has a strong aftersales track record in Asia Pacific markets with a particular focus on enhancing customer experience, which will be of great value to our organisation.”

Nicolas arrives in the UK with a wealth of experience following 20 years with Nissan and its Alliance partner Renault. His most recent roles include two years as General Manager Aftersales where he covered sales planning and marketing for Asia Pacific markets. Since 2020, he has led Nissan Motors Thailand’s aftersales division and a member of the executive team.

Nicolas said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at Nissan GB at a very exciting time for the automotive industry. I look forward to embracing the opportunities presented by the UK market’s transition to electric vehicles, while delivering added value for our network partners and an even greater experience for our customers.”
