KTM, the Austrian manufacturer renowned for its unbeatable riders and championship winning off-road machinery continues its support for National Motocross in South Africa after three successful seasons. The contingency program called “KTM PRO Race Orange” is again available to Junior and Senior National Motocross licence holders, privateers and teams riders alike.

The program is designed to reward KTM riders for all the effort that they put into their racing and indirectly by doing so, promoting and strengthening the KTM brand on a national level.

In short, KTM South Africa will reward the Junior classes after every National MX race for their first, second or third place in form of a voucher that can be presented at their local KTM dealership and can be used for genuine KTM parts, KTM Power Parts or KTM Power Wear. In addition to that a National Championship bonus will be paid out at the end of the year for winning the 50cc, 65cc or 85cc titles.

In the Senior classes (MX Pro Mini, MX High School, MX1 and MX2) KTM will pay prize money to competitors who are registered to the Pro Race Orange program. In the premier MX1 and MX2 classes prize money for a race win will be up to R 5,000.00 and similar to the Junior classes riders winning a championship title will benefit from an additional Championship bonus of up to R 10,000.00.

The fact that KTM is the weapon of choice for Motocross has been proven yet again by the the fact that in 2013,KTM experienced the biggest and most successful racing season for the Austrian sports bike manufacturer. KTM riders and factory teams picked up multiple World and European Senior and Junior Championship awards. KTM was also the Manufacturer World Champion in all three MX classes.
