The exclusive winter experience with the Jeep brand is now beginning will a full calendar of events. These events will involve the prestigious ski resorts of Courmayeur, in Italy, Courchevel, in France and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in Germany, offering the public the chance to test the flagship Jeep Grand Cherokee both on- and off-road. The first event of the Jeep winter experience will take place January 25th – 29th in Courchevel, in occasion of the prestigious festival of design ‘Born Designers 2012’, which will feature Jeep as official partner.

With the purpose of offering some unforgettable entertainment to the guests staying in Courmayeur, Jeep has created a unique location: situated in the heart of the Valle d’Aosta town and featuring a refined ambiance, the J Set boasts traditional furnishings and contemporary design, presenting and elaborating signature features of the brand, that blend in seamlessly with the spectacular landscape of the Alps.
During daytime at the J Set, guests will have the opportunity to request information on the different models in the Jeep lineup as well as to book a test drive both on- and off-road on board Jeep Grand Cherokee, the flagship of the brand and the maximum expression of its elegance and power. Indeed, a special 4×4 track featuring obstacles found in real off-road driving built at the Courmayeur Cava will be available for visitors who want to enjoy an authentic off-road driving experience and test the extraordinary 4×4 capabilities of the Jeep flagship. On-road test drives will take place along the charming Hermitage route in the Courmayeur area.
At the end of the day spent on the ski runs, the restaurant of the J Set will tickle the most demanding palates offering several delicious dishes of the traditional Valle d’Aosta cuisine and the ‘high altitude’ sushi made by the Japanese chef Christopher Son Valverde; the J Set will also entertain the public with exciting musical soirées.
Furthermore, at the exclusive Grand Hotel Royal & Golf in Courmayeur, a fleet of Jeep vehicles will shuttle guests to and from the ski slopes. Customised by Jeep, the lounge bar of the Hotel Le Saint Roch will offer the Special Jeep Tonic, the all-new drink created specifically for Jeep. The exclusive Hotel Le Pralong will be the starting point for the test drives of Jeep Grand Cherokee. A courtesy car service will ensure transportation for the guests travelling between the various Jeep locations in Courchevel.
The Jeep winter event will continue in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the largest ski resort in Germany and home to the Alpine World Ski Championships 2011. At the German ski resort, test drives of Jeep Grand Cherokee will start from the elegant Café Amici located in the center of the Bavarian town. Cafè Amici will also host cocktails and soirées. The Jeep experience will continue on the ski runs as it will involve the Drehmöser 9, the chalet located on the mountainside of the Zugspitze, the highest peak in Germany.
