Honda has revealed a refreshed interpretation of its iconic H mark, signalling a new chapter for the brand as it accelerates towards an electrified and intelligent future. The updated emblem will be applied to future electric vehicles and major hybrid-electric models from 2027, while also being rolled out gradually across the wider automobile business.

The new H mark will debut on Honda’s next generation of vehicles, forming a visual cornerstone of the company’s long-term strategy. Beyond product applications, the symbol will extend to dealership locations, brand communications and Honda’s motorsport activities, creating a consistent identity across all customer touchpoints.

At the heart of the redesign is Honda’s response to a period of profound transformation in the global automotive industry. With electrification and intelligent technologies reshaping mobility, the refreshed H mark is intended to reflect the brand’s commitment to delivering new value, not only through advanced powertrains, but also through smarter, more human-centred solutions.

Honda unveils refreshed h mark for the electric era

While unmistakably Honda, the updated design carries deeper meaning. Inspired by the image of two outstretched hands, the mark represents the company’s intent to expand the possibilities of mobility and to support people in their everyday lives. It speaks to openness, collaboration and a forward-looking mindset as Honda redefines what mobility can be in an increasingly digital and electrified world.

The H mark has been part of Honda’s visual identity since 1963 and has evolved alongside the brand for more than six decades. This latest iteration was first introduced alongside the arrival of Honda’s next-generation electric vehicles, including the Honda 0 Series, and now takes centre stage as the manufacturer prepares for the next phase of its global product rollout.

As Honda looks beyond 2027, the refreshed H mark stands as more than a design update. It is a statement of intent, anchoring the brand’s heritage while pointing firmly towards a future shaped by innovation, electrification and intelligent mobility.
