London, 20 October 2025 — Fashion met innovation on Oxford Street last night as Renault hosted an exclusive VIP evening at MAISON4, its immersive pop-up experience at Future Stores, to mark the launch of the Renault 4 E-Tech electric.

Among the 75 VIP guests in attendance was fashion model and sustainability advocate Daisy Lowe, who joined leading voices from the fashion, technology, music and environmental sectors for a night celebrating design, electrification, and the evolution of sustainable mobility.

A stylish celebration of electric innovation

The evening was hosted in partnership with Marie Claire, with Editor-in-Chief Andrea Thompson moderating a thought-provoking panel discussion that explored the emotional and cultural shift toward electric vehicles.

Joining Thompson on stage were Adam Wood, Managing Director of Renault UK, and motoring experts Nicki Shields and Katy Fairman, who together unpacked the role of design, innovation, and storytelling in shaping how consumers connect with electric mobility.

Over the course of a lively 30-minute conversation, guests were invited to engage directly with the panel, discussing everything from the role of emotionally appealing design to how brands like Renault are helping drivers embrace EVs without compromising on style, performance or practicality.

Immersive experiences at MAISON4

As the conversation flowed, a live DJ and the sleek surroundings of MAISON4 provided a vibrant backdrop. Guests explored the Renault 4 E-Tech electric up close, discovering how the reimagined icon blends nostalgia with modern electric technology.

The event also offered playful, shareable moments — from a dedicated gaming area and curated Renault merchandise to a Polaroid photo booth set against striking digital backdrops.

Adam Wood commented:

“It’s clear that more people are ready to go electric, and our MAISON4 event was a fantastic, high-profile way to discuss a very relevant topic in a fun and engaging way. Cars that speak to both head and heart, like the Renault 4, are driving a step change in how electric vehicles are perceived. We’re thrilled that MAISON4 has given thousands of people an insight into how EVs can be desirable, stylish and efficient.”

A week-long success on Oxford Street

The VIP evening marked the culmination of a week-long public showcase, during which thousands of visitors passed through MAISON4 between 11–19 October. Located in the heart of London’s retail district, the pop-up gave visitors the opportunity to explore Renault’s electric future through interactive installations, digital displays, and hands-on experiences.

The timing was ideal, coming as 55% of Londoners say they are considering switching to an EV within the next two years — a clear sign that the capital’s appetite for sustainable mobility is accelerating.

Reinventing an icon

The Renault 4 E-Tech electric continues the legacy of the original 4, reimagined for a new era of electric mobility. Designed with versatility, practicality and charm at its core, it has already earned widespread acclaim — including titles such as TopGear.com’s “Electric Car of the Year”, Auto Express’ “Small SUV of the Year”, and News UK’s “Small SUV/Crossover of the Year”.

With prices starting from £25,495 after the UK Government’s £1,500 Electric Car Grant, the Renault 4 E-Tech electric brings style, sustainability and innovation within reach for a new generation of drivers.

Following the success of MAISON5 earlier this year — which saw the Renault 5, Car of the Year, take over the same Future Stores location — MAISON4 has once again proven that Renault’s immersive approach to connecting with audiences is redefining how people experience electric mobility.

As Oxford Street lights reflected off the sleek lines of the Renault 4, and music spilled into the London night, one message resonated clearly: the future of driving is electric — and it’s never looked so good.
