Reigning Downhill World Mountain Bike Champion, Danny Hart, took delivery of a new 2012 RM-Z250 Suzuki at the weekend, as the British rider agreed a deal with the Japanese manufacturer to support his winter training programme.

Hart, who emphatically won the World Cup series this year, thanks to his legendary 11 second win at the final round at Champery, will begin using the 2012 RM-Z250 as part of his winter training regime, where he regularly practices and competitively competes in motocross.

Danny Hart - 2011 World Downhill Mountain Bike Champion

Danny Hart: “I’ve been a big motocross fan and rider for years and funnily enough, have pretty much always ridden Suzuki. I was invited to a magazine shoot-out with the latest bikes a few weeks back and ended the day riding the Suzuki. For me it’s the perfect package and straightaway I felt comfortable, so when I got talking to Suzuki about my winter training, the RM-Z250 was the perfect choice.”

The factory Giant Mountain bike rider will race and practice with the RM-Z250 over the winter months before starting his 2012 World Downhill season in March in South Africa.
