Stellantis MEA Celebrates Success at the First Customer Centricity Competition in Istanbul

Casablanca, April 24, 2024 – Stellantis Middle East and Africa marked a significant achievement with their inaugural Customer Centricity Competition held on April 18 in Istanbul, Turkey. The event drew participants from Stellantis’s extensive network, spotlighting the remarkable talents of frontline professionals from the MEA region. A competitive field of 6,000 entrants from 81 markets vied for top honors in categories tailored to their specific roles: Sales Advisor, Service Advisor, Technician, and Spare Parts Advisor.

The competition concluded with 24 professionals emerging as winners, representing a diverse group of countries including Morocco, Turkey, Egypt, South Africa, Tunisia, and Qatar. These winners excelled in their respective categories, demonstrating superior skills and knowledge. The Sales and Service Advisors were evaluated on their abilities in greeting and consulting, negotiation and closing deals, and theoretical knowledge. Meanwhile, Technicians and Spare Parts Advisors were tested through practical tests, assessing their hands-on expertise.

Samir Cherfan, Chief Operations Officer for Stellantis Middle East & Africa, expressed his enthusiasm about the competition’s success, stating, “This event underlines our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction as envisioned in our Dare Forward 2030 strategy. Placing the customer at the core of what we do is not just a statement—it’s an action that propels us forward. The winners of this competition have set new standards in customer-centricity and professional excellence.”

To support this commitment, Stellantis MEA invested nearly 2 million Euros in training programs during 2023, amounting to 70,000 hours of professional development across the region. Additional initiatives launched include the MEA Spotlight program, which acknowledges high-performing advisors, the NPS Data Reliability program to ensure genuine customer feedback, and the introduction of Customer Tables designed to expedite the resolution of customer care issues.

The overwhelming success of the Customer Centricity Competition showcases Stellantis MEA’s dedication to nurturing talent and enhancing customer service across the region.
