Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has proudly opened its doors to the latest cohort of its prestigious Apprenticeship Programme at the Home of Rolls-Royce, located at the marque’s Centre of Luxury Manufacturing Excellence and Headquarters in Goodwood. Thirty-one new apprentices will embark on a transformative journey that will see them develop into the world-class craftspeople, managers, and leaders of the future. With this intake, the total number of apprentices currently training on-site rises to 98, solidifying the company’s commitment to nurturing future talent.
This year’s intake is unique, not only due to the calibre of the apprentices, who underwent a rigorous selection process, but also because the programme has expanded into new disciplines, including Data Analytics and Product Development. These emerging fields, critical to the evolving automotive landscape, complement the existing apprenticeships in areas such as the Interior Trim Centre, Technical Assembly, Sewing, and Milling Machining, among others.
Gunther Boehner, Director of Manufacturing at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, expressed his pride in welcoming the new intake, stating:

These talented, committed young people, all of whom have already completed a rigorous selection process, represent the future of our business. Today, they’re embarking on what will be a challenging but transformative and life-enhancing journey to discover new skills and knowledge, the world of work and, not least, aspects of themselves.”
The apprenticeships are delivered in partnership with leading educational institutions. Those enrolled in Level 2 and 3 programmes will complete their academic studies at the Chichester College Group, which has been rated outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. Apprentices pursuing Degree Apprenticeships will benefit from the expertise of the University of Chichester, ranked among the top 40 universities in the UK.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars also remains dedicated to attracting future talent. The company actively participates in careers fairs and school seminars, collaborating with the Education Development Trust (EDT) and the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP) to inspire STEM students. Additionally, webinars for prospective applicants to the 2025 Future Talent Programme will run throughout September, offering insights into the opportunities available across Apprenticeships, Internships, and Graduate roles. Applications for this competitive programme open in January 2025, providing ambitious individuals with the chance to be part of one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands.
