.
Stars come as standard for Rolls-Royce, thanks to cars as individual as their owner’s fingerprint, and this year Rolls-Royce Motor Cars hosted two renowned figures of the art world and the big screen.
Photographer Rankin was on-hand to talk to Rolls-Royce chief executive Torsten Müller-Ötvös at the press conference. Accompanied by his wife and model Tuuli, Rankin also presented an exhibition of the latest in his collection of 100 portraits inspired by the Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy figurine. The 10 examples which result from Rankin’s current collaboration with Rolls-Royce will feature in the lounge throughout the 13-day show.
When it comes to quintessentially British film stars, they don’t come much brighter than Rowan Atkinson. He took time from a busy schedule of Johnny English Reborn premieres to talk to Torsten live at the press conference. Of course ‘Royce’, the stunning Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupé which co-stars alongside Rowan in the film, is also making a very special appearance on the stand.
