Renault South Africa, a division of Motus, recently hosted its Annual Dealer of the Year Awards, celebrating the remarkable achievements and dedication of its dealerships and motor groups in 2023.
The prestigious event, held at The Maslow Time Square in Pretoria, showcased the unwavering commitment to excellence demonstrated by Renault’s top dealers throughout the year. The gala shone a spotlight on the best-performing dealerships, highlighting their outstanding contributions to the Renault brand.
In the large dealership category, Group 1 Renault The Glen earned top honors, while Renault Bruma triumphed in the medium dealership category. Auto City Group, represented by Renault Heidelberg, claimed the award for small dealerships, and Kelston Renault Queenstown was recognized as the best micro dealership.

Several other notable Independent Motor Group awards were presented at the gala event:
- BB Auto Group received the award for Best Overall Achievement.
- Motus Automotive Retail Group was honored as the Retailer of the Year and Most Improved Group.
- McCarthy Group earned the title of Most Consistent Performer.
- Eastvaal Motor Group was recognized for Most Improved Sales Market Penetration.
- Prestige Group received the award for Most Consistent Sales and Quality.
