Jaguar Land Rover South Africa has moved to a brand new corporate home.
Following the sale of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands to the Tata Group last year, the newly formed Jaguar Land Rover SA vacated its Ford-managed premises in Silverton last week, and are now operating from their new offices located in Irene.
“The move is symbolic in that we are the first Jaguar Land Rover office in the world to separate from our former parent company, Ford,” says Andrew Daniel, managing director of Jaguar Land Rover SA. “It really is a very strong signal that we are now operating under our own steam.”
Daniel says the move is further proof of the new Jaguar Land Rover entity’s independence, and the substantial trust vested in it by the Tata Group.
“But the move also has a number of very positive practical implications. Our new offices are very accessible, and they are also located very close to our technical training centre.
“The facilities are modern and comfortable, and I have no doubt that they will further benefit what is already a strongly motivated team, intent on operating more efficiently and successfully than ever before,” Daniel concluded.
The 1 100 square metre head office is located in the Route 21 Corporate Park, an access-controlled security business estate in Irene, but right on the doorstep of Centurion and Pretoria East.
Situated along the main Nelmapius Road artery, the park is easily accessible from both the R21 and N1 freeways, while the OR Tambo International Airport is only 20 minutes away.
Major shopping malls and housing estates, as well as a number of private and public schools are also in close proximity.
