Mazda Southern Africa has expanded its national aftersales network with the appointment of two new authorised Service Agents, reinforcing its commitment to customer convenience, service excellence, and nationwide Omotenashi – the brand’s renowned human-centric hospitality philosophy.

Morgan Mazda Welkom Joins the Network

Mazda SA has officially welcomed Morgan Mazda Welkom as its newest authorised Service Agent. Previously operating under a different dealer group, the Welkom dealership now forms part of Group Morgan, a well-established name within South Africa’s automotive retail landscape.

This transition strengthens Mazda’s presence in the Welkom region, ensuring that customers continue to benefit from the high standards of aftersales care, technical expertise, and customer support that underpin the Mazda ownership experience.

Halfway Mazda Port Shepstone Appointed as Authorised Service Agent

Further enhancing its footprint, Mazda SA has confirmed the appointment of Halfway Mazda Port Shepstone as an authorised Service Agent. The Halfway Group is widely respected for its customer-first approach, making it a natural fit within Mazda’s expanding service network.

From its Port Shepstone location, the dealership will provide comprehensive aftersales support to Mazda owners across the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. This includes service, maintenance and Mazda Genuine Parts supply within the dealership’s designated Area of Responsibility. The appointment ensures seamless regional coverage and greater accessibility for customers living and travelling along this important corridor.

Supporting Mazda’s Broader Aftersales Strategy

These new appointments form an integral part of Mazda Southern Africa’s ongoing aftersales network strategy, aimed at improving customer access, strengthening service infrastructure, and maintaining consistent delivery of quality across all touchpoints.

“Our dealer partners play a vital role in ensuring that every Mazda owner receives the care, expertise and attention they deserve,” says Bonite Van Der Merwe, Managing Director of Mazda Southern Africa. “Expanding our service network through trusted and customer-focused groups like Morgan and Halfway allows us to enhance convenience and uphold the high standards of quality that define the Mazda brand in South Africa.”

Driving Customer Confidence Nationwide

Mazda Southern Africa expresses its appreciation to both newly appointed Dealer Groups for their commitment to supporting Mazda owners and contributing to the brand’s long-term success. These partnerships will help strengthen customer confidence and ensure that Mazda drivers continue to enjoy a seamless, rewarding ownership journey—wherever they are in the country.
