1st May, 2009, At a gala awards dinner held on Thursday 16th April, 2009 at Emperor’s Palace, Land Rover Bedfordview walked away with the coveted title of Dealer Of The Year 2008. The award was received by Bruce Allen, Dealer Principal for the dealership. The award was bestowed upon Land Rover Bedfordview for their outstanding results and performance in sales and after-sales delivery.
“At the outset, I need to say that it was not the Dealer Of The Year Award that we had our sights on. It was the “Most Improved Dealer” Award. We clearly exceeded our goals, and it was the striving for continuous improvement that set us apart from the rest. We really have a fantastic team at Land Rover Bedfordview, all who have the correct mindset and who focus on caring for our customers and running a successful business,” said a jubilant Bruce Allen.
The hotly contested award for Top Sales Dealer was shared by Land Rover Sandton and Land Rover Waterford respectively.
Top CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) Dealer Award went to Ritchie Land Rover, Standerton. The top CSI dealer is the dealer that consistently delivers excellent customer service over the period of a year. It was measured through the Synovate Customer Satisfaction study and monthly scores. Ritchie Land Rover has been top CSI dealer for ten years now which means that they consistently go the extra mile and have built up a personal relationship with their customer base.
The Most Improved Dealer Award was received by Wikus Bruwer, Dealer Principal for Land Rover Windhoek. This dealership showed the best overall improvement in sales, overall CSI and parts.
Embracer of the Brand Award went to Land Rover East Rand. Over and above the dealership winning this award, Johan Coetzee was voted Dealer Principal of the Year by Sewell’s as well as the dealership winning the Super Group Dealer of The year 2008 Award.
Four Way Motor Land Rover Vereeniging won the Committed to Service Excellence Award. This dealership continuously goes the extra mile.
The prestigious awards were handed over to the dealers by Andrew Daniel, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover South Africa.
