Isuzu UK has proudly announced the extension of its title partnership with The FA Vase and The FA Trophy for an additional three seasons, continuing a successful collaboration with The Football Association (The FA) that began in the 2022/23 season. The renewed agreement will see Isuzu remain at the heart of two of non-league football’s most prestigious competitions until the end of the 2027/28 campaign.
The announcement follows another captivating edition of Non-League Finals Day at Wembley Stadium, where 38,600 supporters gathered to witness a celebration of the grassroots game. This record attendance under Isuzu’s partnership signals not only the rising popularity of non-league football but also the impact of Isuzu’s ongoing support.
Celebrating Non-League Spirit at Wembley
On Sunday 11th May, Whitstable Town triumphed 2-1 over AFC Whyteleafe to lift the Isuzu FA Vase, a competition open to clubs in Steps 5 and 6 of the National League System (NLS). Later in the day, Aldershot Town secured a commanding 3-0 victory against Spennymoor Town to claim the Isuzu FA Trophy, contested by teams in Steps 1 to 4 of the NLS. Both matches showcased the tenacity, passion, and community spirit that define the non-league game.
As title partner, Isuzu UK has played a pivotal role in elevating these competitions, helping to shine a national spotlight on the clubs, players, and fans that are the backbone of English football. The partnership reflects Isuzu’s wider commitment to grassroots sport, driven in part by its extensive dealer network of over 90 outlets across the UK, many of which are actively engaged in local football sponsorship initiatives.
