In a significant milestone marking its 50th anniversary, Dymag, the world-renowned leader in advanced motorcycle wheel technology, has teamed up with Roland Sands Design, a vanguard in custom motorcycle building and high-performance bike accessories. Together, they have unveiled the Sector Race Wheels, a new generation of motorcycle wheels designed to push the boundaries of speed, efficiency, and style.

The partnership brings together Dymag’s extensive expertise in wheel development and Roland Sands’ renowned design capabilities. Engineered to excel on both the racetrack and the road, the Sector Race Wheels have been meticulously designed to enhance every aspect of motorcycle performance, including acceleration, handling, and braking.

The Sector Race Wheels capitalize on Dymag’s expansive catalog of superbike and sports bike fitments, making them a versatile choice for various motorcycle models. This strategic collaboration aims not just to innovate but to redefine what’s possible in motorcycle performance and aesthetic design.

Making their debut on the international racing stage, the Sector Race Wheels were featured on Peter Hickman’s PHR BMW S1000RR at the Northwest 200, signaling a new era in motorcycle racing. The wheels are a testament to Dymag’s unrivaled experience and heritage in wheel technology, enhanced by Roland Sands’ commitment to design excellence.

Chris Shelley, Chairman of Dymag, emphasized the transformative nature of this collaboration, stating, “The partnership with Roland Sands Design is not merely about creating a product. It’s about setting new standards for what a motorcycle wheel can achieve in terms of performance and design.” Roland Sands, the founder of Roland Sands Design, also expressed his excitement about the project, highlighting their shared vision for innovation and excellence in motorcycle design.

Developed over two years, the Sector Race Wheels feature state-of-the-art lightweight hubs, CNC machining, and are engineered to meet rigorous standards through advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and extensive lab testing. This ensures that the wheels not only meet but exceed the highest expectations of performance and reliability.

The wheels showcase Dymag’s signature style, from sleek spokes to bold milled I beams, each element designed to enhance both function and form. Every wheel comes with a cush drive, tailored to individual bike specifications to ensure a perfect fit, optimal performance, and a smooth riding experience. The Sector Race Wheels are available in a variety of specifications and colors, making them a customizable choice for motorcycle enthusiasts.

With the wheels now available for pre-order and expected to be delivered to customers starting early July, there is already considerable anticipation and demand among the biking community.

Moreover, earlier this year, Dymag announced its partnership with MotoAmerica for the 2024 season, reinforcing its commitment to North American racing. Dymag’s involvement in the 2023 MotoAmerica season saw its teams achieve notable successes, which speaks to the brand’s continued influence and innovation in high-performance motorcycle racing.

Peter Hickman, gearing up for the upcoming races with the new Sector Race Wheels, shared his confidence in the wheels, noting, “The innovative design and superior performance capabilities of the Sector Race Wheels give me the confidence to push my limits on the track.”

This launch not only celebrates Dymag’s half-century legacy in wheel development but also sets the stage for the future of motorcycle racing, where design innovation meets peak performance.
