WARWICK, UK – 21 October 2025: Dennis Eagle, the UK’s market leader in the design and manufacture of refuse collection vehicles (RCVs), has officially opened a new Technical Training Centre in Warwickshire, marking a major milestone in the company’s commitment to innovation, customer support, and workforce development.

Located close to its Warwick headquarters, the new 4,900m² facility combines practical and theoretical training designed to deepen the knowledge and confidence of RCV operators. By blending expert-led instruction with hands-on learning, Dennis Eagle aims to help customers gain maximum value from their vehicles through safe operation, effective maintenance, and an enhanced understanding of the company’s advanced systems.

“This evolutionary approach to training is a critical change for the future of our business,” said Geoff Rigg, Aftermarket Director at Dennis Eagle. “The combination of expert-led theory with hands-on practical experience creates impactful, long-lasting value for our customers and ensures operators have the confidence to apply what they learn out in the real world. Our unrivalled industry knowledge and firmly established heritage means there is no one better placed to provide enduring, high-quality training that helps develop sector-leading engineers.”

The centre’s curriculum covers Dennis Eagle’s entire product range, including specialist recycling vehicles and bin lifting systems, and is supported by technical expertise from both Dennis Eagle and Terberg Matec UK. This unified approach allows customers to benefit from consolidated training resources in one central location.

Beyond its technical classrooms, the new building also houses multiple interactive areas, a practical training zone, a dedicated display area, and a customer handover space. Together, these facilities support Dennis Eagle’s growing UK production footprint by boosting operational capacity and enriching the customer experience.

“The newly opened facility provides the footprint and scope to help bolster our growing operations and further enhance our customer proposition,” said Keith Day, Managing Director, Dennis Eagle. “As well as increasing the space required to support production growth, it will allow us to showcase our world-class vehicle capability through interactive presentations, practical activities, and engaging environments, enabling customers to get hands-on with our products in a safe and controlled way. The expansion will act as an essential step forward in improving practical product knowledge and safety awareness among our customers and staff.”

In addition to strengthening its technical and customer support capabilities, the expansion is also expected to generate new employment opportunities in the local area. These include roles for engineers, technicians, trainers, and administrative staff, reinforcing Dennis Eagle’s long-term commitment to investment in British manufacturing and regional development.

“As the UK’s leading provider of innovative RCVs and specialist vehicles, this new building further demonstrates our commitment to investing in Warwick and the UK,” Day added. “It supports new jobs in the area, provides a positive boost to the economy, and continues our vital work towards creating safer, cleaner communities.”

The new Technical Training Centre represents a key step in Dennis Eagle’s ongoing evolution—combining its decades of engineering expertise with a forward-thinking approach to training and operational excellence, ensuring the next generation of RCV operators and engineers are equipped to lead the industry into a cleaner, more efficient future.
