CMA, one of the UK’s leading motorsport marketing companies, has won a major new contract to help brake specialists Alcon Components promote its new carbon ceramic road car brake kits.

Alcon, based in Tamworth, UK, is a specialist brake and clutch manufacturer that specialises in providing cutting edge bespoke brake solutions for customers in Formula 1, World Rally, Touring Cars and the defence industry among many others. They are now embarking on a project to launch CCX, a carbon ceramic brake kit for the Nissan GTR and other high-performance road cars, and have commissioned CMA to undertake the marketing of this product.

CMA, who will be running this project from their Silverstone office, will embark on an initial 12-month programme encompassing a dedicated website, e-mail campaigns, SEO and social media support in addition to PR and the production of sales brochures and videos.

“When we were discussing this project with CMA, we were very impressed by their knowledge, enthusiasm and grasp of our core values and competencies, which we simply didn’t get with other marketing companies we’ve spoken to” said Jonathan Edwards, sales director at Alcon Components. “We are very much looking forward to working with CMA and seeing what they can deliver.”

Pim van Baarsen, managing director of CMA Silverstone commented: “Naturally we are delighted to be working with Alcon on this project. Their new CCX range has been developed to be the most advanced brake system available to owners of high-performance road cars, and it is very exciting to be promoting such an impressive product from such a strong company.”

The project starts with immediate effect, with one of the first milestones being the announcement of a tie-up with a leading British car manufacturer.
