Johannesburg – Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) is set to play a pivotal role in the first-ever Nedbank Gravel Burn, a bold 7-day, 800 km gravel cycling stage race that showcases South Africa’s most breathtaking landscapes. From 26 October to 1 November 2025, riders will journey from the forested shores of Knysna, through the rugged expanse of the Great Karoo, and across the scenic Western and Eastern Cape, finishing at the prestigious Shamwari Private Game Reserve near Gqeberha.

Toyota at the Heart of the Race

As the official vehicle partner, Toyota will supply a fleet of gravel-ready, off-road capable vehicles to provide essential logistical support across the challenging 800 km course. Highlighting the synergy between human endurance and automotive engineering, one Toyota vehicle will lead each stage, heralding the start with all the drama of a professional race.

At the end of every stage, the iconic Toyota Fortuner leader jersey vehicle will traverse the riders’ camp, delivering daily leader jerseys to podium finishers and capturing autographs on the celebrated vehicle – a moving emblem of achievement, resilience, and adventure.
